Slow but decent work with VideoPlace

•

After a wicked fast pace on development last week on VideoPlace, I kind of expected a slow up in work on VideoPlace this week.

There were a few things that were working against it. First, the bulk of the work had already been done and it’s really just testing the theme and working out the small stuff. I also started really working as sports editor for The Daily Texan, which will certainly be priority No. 1 this semester. And I had a lot of work to do for my development internship before I head back to school.

But it wasn’t like there wasn’t anything done on the theme. For starters, I created a demo site for the theme to show it off for potential users as well as to test it in a real-world environment and on different devices. Also, I started working on a short video to promote the theme as well. Finally, I added a section of the header for social media links.

As for what’s next, I’m putting a deadline to finish the theme and submit it by the end of the month. Like I said, there’s not too much left to do with it and most of the documentation has already been written as well. So a couple more weeks of slow, but steady work should do the trick.
